The #CHIparaMi campaign kicked off with celebrity stylist and Univision television personality Jomari Goyso on August 24, 2016, through social media and this exclusive announcement party in Miami at the EPIC Hotel. Dr. Farouk Shami, Chairman and Founder of Farouk Systems Inc., the manufacturer of the CHI® and BioSilk® brands was welcomed by Univision and the event was hosted by Francisca Lachapel. The celebration included styling stations, product displays and discussions about what this campaign means for both Dr. Farouk Shami and Jomari Goyso.

Farouk Systems teams up with Univision and Jomari Goyso on the #CHIparaMi campaign which will deliver motivational content and brand exposure to the Latina market in Spanish through Univision programming. #CHIparaMi will feature TV spots and unique social content including photos and tutorials from Jomari Goyso as well as motivational and educational tours hosted by Dr. Farouk Shami and Jomari. Six top cities in the United States will be visited to provide beauty education and makeovers within the Latin community and comes with a commitment to donate $100,000 in product monthly.

Farouk and CHI are especially excited about working with Jomari on the #CHIparaMi campaign as Jomari is not only a celebrity but also a famous hairstylist that understands what Latina women need and want. Jomari as the new face of #CHIparaMi will be helping Farouk Systems spread the word about CHI Haircare tools and products as well as working to give back to women shelters in NY, LA, and Houston. This merger will raise awareness of CHI and their caring concern for the Latino community throughout major cities in the US.

During the ceremony, Farouk surprised two Miami Charities – The Lodge and The Lotus House by donating $50,000 in product donations! The first TV spot of Farouk and Jomari also premiered for all attendees who were able to get the first glimpse of this partnership in action. The official air date will be Sunday, September 4th during the Sal y Pimienta show at 9 PM. Recap of Wednesday’s event will also air on Despierta America.
